NYC Timeshares
For the first timeshare property of its kind in Manhattan, Hilton chose Structure Tone to help build their vision. Structure Tone was tasked with fitting-out 28 floors complete with 161 units in a new 150,000sf hotel. The single tower includes luxurious and sophisticated spaces for members and their guests.
Amenities include a back courtyard giving the hotel guests a private oasis in midtown Manhattan and an owners’ lounge and fitness center, complete with a spa, to further enhance convenience and comfort for guests.
The team focused on schedule and cost efficiency while maintaining quality and design intent. Our team collaborated with the architect to achieve value management by redesigning the millwork and drywall layout and making suggestions for new energy-saving lighting packages.
Speed to Market
In order for Hilton to open the doors to guests as early as possible and begin earning revenue from their investment, the interior construction closely followed the floor-by-floor progress of the base building contractor. We worked in tandem with the core and shell contractor, carefully coordinating the pouring of slabs for the floors and decks and installation of the curtainwall. As this was finished, our work began.
Work was broken into specific scope packages and focused teams tackled discrete project elements. One team installed floor-to-ceiling glass windows while another worked on the bathrooms installing full sheets of marble, high-end stone tiles and glass doors in the shower stalls.
The guest rooms and suites required installation of Antico faux wood flooring with specially designed wall coverings and millwork panels. Custom wood doors and TV cabinets were built to house state-of-the-art television and stereo systems. We also built-out the luxurious penthouse suites on the top two floors of the tower. We furnished these suites with modern audio/video systems, wood flooring and a wall of glass to showcase skyline views.
