Open and Operational
Structure Tone managed the construction for the 30,000sf research and development surgery center for a medical device company, which develops minimally disruptive spinal surgery products and procedures.
Understanding the need for speed to market, our team took a proactive approach during the preconstruction phase to meticulously review the 12-week schedule and troubleshoot any potentially challenging items.
Standing Tall
The new center features operating rooms for research, training and demonstrations as well as locker rooms and a processing/distribution area. The office portion includes a reception lobby, conference area, open and closed offices, break rooms, utility and server room, exterior generator and loading platform.
Following the success of the surgery center, our team provided construction management for an additional 30,000sf of office space and a 4,000sf distribution space in the same building. Reducing the schedule was a key concern and our team once again closely coordinated and managed all long lead materials, such as carpet, lighting, VAVs and make-up air units with the various trades.
