Interactive Construction
The leading apparel and footwear company, The Jones Group, consolidated their operations onto nine, non-contiguous floors in a three-phase project constructed by Structure Tone. The 207,000sf finished offices reflect the Jones Group’s highly inventive company culture.
The new space is intended to facilitate interaction with clients and idea building between employees. Employees are encouraged to utilize the conference rooms, collaboration rooms and small break rooms of varying size located throughout each floor. Several of the larger presentation rooms are equipped with clothing racks and track lighting to showcase the apparel.
Showrooms and Executive Suites
Four showrooms are customized by various designers to showcase their designs for a personalized “boutique” experience. Two of the showrooms belong to Rachel Roy, a leading fashion designer for The Jones Group. Several unique features of her two-story showroom include a colorfully hand-painted, wood-carved arch imported from India at the entrance of her showroom as well as whitewashed, plank-wood flooring, and mirrored walls framed in wood molding.
The executive area includes private offices with private bathrooms and meeting areas. The main boardroom includes a custom-made, built-in-place wood conference table that seats 20. There are six additional conference rooms, two pantries, open-plan administrative areas, a learning center, and a reception area with sliding glass doors. High-end finishes throughout include Venetian plaster, end-cut wood flooring and Newmat stretch ceiling.
