Three-Months to Build

Structure Tone was selected as general contractor for the new Dallas area call center for this auto credit client. The project team overcame challenging delays, from the weather to long lead products, and completed the project on an aggressive three month schedule. The team obtained the certificate of occupancy, completed enhanced LEED commissioning and moved the client in their new space on schedule.

The project was designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold certification. Located on the second floor of a two-story office building, the call center includes a boardroom, interview rooms, video conference (telepresence) room, training rooms, server room and mail room.

Call Center Features

Central to the call center concept is the use of collaboration and rejuvenation spaces. Collaboration spaces are flooded with natural light and contain polished glass marker boards and mobile seating, for flexible gatherings of the teams. The rejuvenation space is styled after the concept of Central Park in New York, and contains features including circular skylights and a green, living wall with an irrigation system and recirculation pump. Seating in “Central Park” is a combination of a focal piece (a long custom millwork and upholstered park bench under the skylights) combined with table seating under lush 10ft tall trees. Sound masking and a Musak system provide nature sounds in “Central Park”, and simultaneously, white noise for speech privacy in the call center and the collaboration spaces

Structure Tone installed floating Techzone ceilings with Axiom trim, and suspended linear lighting and sound baffles over the call center stations. Sealed concrete and carpet tile cover the floor, and painted exposed structure and HVAC systems, stained wood custom millwork, and full height glass walls complete the finish package.
