Coming Home to the Arts District
Steps away from the Kimmel Center; Academy of Music; and Miriam, Prince and Wilma Theaters in the heart of the Arts District of Philadelphia our firm constructed a luxury residential condominium tower. Standing 31-stories tall, Symphony House provides 163 units ranging from a 948sf one-bedroom to 4,500sf five-bedroom penthouse, with no more than nine units per floor. The 642,000sf building was designed in the classic romantic 1920s art deco style and constructed with reinforced concrete with post 9/11 security features. The building also provides residents with a spa/fitness center with a 60ft lap pool, clubroom, private dining salon, boardroom, garden terrace, library, wine cellar and a 400-space parking garage.
A Show Stopping Performance
One of the most unique features of the building is the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, which was constructed in the lower levels of the building. The state-of-the-art theater, home to Philadelphia Theatre Company, includes a 365-seat traditional proscenium auditorium designed to envelope both the actors and audience. The dramatic lobby and mezzanine level reception areas offer commanding views of the city, as well as superior patron amenities.
