Mark A. Jones Elected to North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce

(September 22, 2009) – Mark Jones, vice president of Structure Tone Southwest, has been elected a Board Member for the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Mark will serve a three-year term on the Board commencing January 2010 through December 2012.

“I am honored that the Board of Directors for the Chamber has entrusted me with this role,” noted Mark. “I have been a strong advocate and supporter of the Chamber, and they have done an amazing job over the years of positioning San Antonio as both a leading Texas and national city. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the achievements of the next few years. San Antonio is really ready to blossom and I intend to work very hard to contribute in every way that I can.”

The Chamber has a large advocacy role, focusing on business-friendly initiatives and legislation, as well as infrastructure enhancements, at the local, state and national level to enhance the prosperity of San Antonio. The North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce represents over 1,300 businesses, both large and small. The member-driven organization also offers professional development programs and facilitates networking among its members.

Mark Jones is regional vice president for Structure Tone Southwest and has full operations responsibility for both Structure Tone Southwest's San Antonio and Austin offices. Mark assumed this role in 2005. The San Antonio office was opened in 2001 and today provides construction services for new, out-of-the-ground projects as well as interior construction – annually delivering over $50M in construction value. The project expertise of Structure Tone Southwest’s San Antonio office includes corporate/commercial, mission critical, life science, healthcare, higher education and cultural facilities. Mark and his team are completing several high profile data center projects this year.
