Constructing sensitive medical facilities within an occupied environment requires that work be conducted with minimal dust and noise impacts. For the endoscopy center the work areas were draped and separated from other parts of the building and work was performed during off-peak hours to minimize disruption. Our firm constructed four endoscopy suites and private preparation and recovery bays equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Careful attention was paid to the installation of the medical casework.
Soothing Spaces
The Greenwich Hospital fertility clinic required a calming atmosphere for the new space. Our firm provided construction management services for the new 2,600sf, first class medical clinic including the careful installation of high-end millwork, lighting and floor coverings needed to achieve this welcoming atmosphere. Work also included curved gypsum board walls and ceilings, wall covering, glass partitions and doors, and intricate carpet installation to match curved ceilings. In addition, anigre wood doors and frames, accent mosaic ceramic tiles adjacent to Venetian plaster and seamless sheet vinyl flooring in the labs and exam rooms were also installed. Precision high-end light fixtures illuminate the waiting lobby and hallways from concealed light soffit coves offering a positive and warm environment.
