Structure Tone’s Washington, DC Office Names Mark Strandquist as VP of Business Development
| Mark Strandquist has joined Structure Tone’s Washington, DC as vice president of business development. Mark will lead new business pursuits and client development for Structure Tone in the region encompassing Washington, DC; Virginia; and Maryland. Mark Strandquist is a 30-year veteran of the DC/NVA/MD commercial real estate industry with expertise in design, interior build-out, multi-phase renovation and new construction. While his focus is now client and business development, Mark has a strong background in all facets of commercial real estate development. “As we conclude our 27thth year in Washington, DC, Mark’s strong background and focus on new pursuits and client development will be a tremendous asset to our growth,” said Greg Ferguson, chief operating officer. Prior to joining Structure Tone, Mark served as vice president for AtSite, a DC-based building solutions firm. Joining AtSite in its 16th year, Mark was integral to AtSite’s internal and external development, including recruiting talent to grow the firm from a staff of 5 to nearly 50. Prior to AtSite, Mark was vice president of business development for FOX Architects, a regional commercial architecture and interior design firm. “Structure Tone has been a solid presence in Washington, DC for over 25 years; we are committed to excelling in this vital and vibrant market,” said Strandquist. “I am very excited to join Greg Ferguson, Mark Abbott, and our entire management team. Structure Tone’s future is very bright and I look forward to being a part of it.” Mark Strandquist is a native of Annapolis, MD. He is an active member of the DCBIA, GWCAR, CoreNet, ULI and NAIOP.
