Project Details
Each building is approximately 120,000sf with a 50,000sf data hall. The scope included both core and shell and interior fit-out of the sites. The superstructure of the new buildings is steel frame and the foundations are rolled concrete.
The electrical and mechanical infrastructure includes an extensive 2(N+1) emergency power system, including diesel rotary UPS (DRUPS) and PDUs in a distributed redundant configuration. One site required ties to the existing data center utility building and involved extensive scheduling. The mechanical infrastructure includes air-cooled chillers feeding individual CRAC units in a redundant configuration, located in galleys. The IT infrastructure includes extensive Category 6 and fiber optic cable connecting the IT cabinets and racks.
