Raised Floor Installation
Ireland’s premier electricity utility company, Electricity Supply Board (ESB Electric Ireland), selected Structure Tone as the main contractor for the refurbishment of 15,000sf of corporate office space. The project included the demolition of existing partitions and stud walls, the installation of part of a new raised floor and construction of new partitioning systems. Also included in the refurbishment were bathroom areas and the installation of new wheelchair accessible bathrooms.
Highlights of the project include:
- provision of boardroom and meeting room space
- high specification kitchen with employee break room area
- provision of monitoring and control center
Open Floor Layout
Included in the open floor layout are workstations for employees. New flat screen TVs were installed and now hang from the ceiling above employee desks. The project also included the upgrade and reworking of mechanical and electrical systems and the power and data networks. Structure Tone operated under the strict health and safety systems put in place by ESB with no issues reported or identified throughout the project. Completion of this project was done in 10-weeks.
