Structure Tone Served as Construction Manager on LEED Gold Projects

Many projects completed by the Structure Tone organization have achieved LEEDŽ Gold certification recently, including:

a financial services client’s call center in Texas
CBRE’s stunning headquarters in New York, NY
Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s transformation project in Neptune, NJ
Nestle Waters’ state-of-the-art Stamford, CT headquarters
a confidential client’s data center in New Jersey

"While LEED Gold certification on a project can be achieved through multiple compliance paths, this accomplishment marks a true effort and commitment to the sustainable built environment by our clients,” commented Jennifer Taranto, LEED AP ID+C, BD+C, director of sustainability at Structure Tone.

Dallas Manages Sustainable LEED Gold Office and Call Center
The new Dallas area interior fit-out for a financial client achieved LEED Gold certification. Located on the second floor of a two-story office building, the scope of work includes call center functions, boardroom, interview rooms, tele-presence room, training rooms, server room and mail room. The project was awarded the Interior Design, Best of 2011 merit award for a mid-size office.

Central to the call center’s concept is the use of ‘collaboration’ and ‘rejuvenation’ spaces. Collaboration spaces are flooded with natural light and contain polished glass marker boards and mobile seating, for flexible gatherings of the teams. The rejuvenation space is styled after the concept of Central Park in New York, and contains features including circular skylights and a green, living wall with an irrigation system and recirculation pump. Seating in ‘Central Park’ includes a long custom millwork and upholstered ‘park bench’ under skylights and table seating under lush 10’ tall trees in planters of recycled metal.

The Structure Tone organization refers to a group of independent companies including Structure Tone, Inc.; Structure Tone Southwest, Inc.; Structure Tone (UK), Inc.; Pavarini Construction Co., Inc.; Pavarini McGovern, LLC; and L.F. Driscoll Company, LLC. Each member company is an independent entity operating and providing services solely under its own name. STO collectively employs over 1,350 professionals; has 21 offices in the US, UK, Ireland and Asia; and puts in place over $2.5B in annual construction volume.
