Structure Tone provided construction services to Allen Edmonds for the interior fit-out of its new 1,500sf shoe store in Short Hills Mall. This high-end interior construction entailed demolition of an existing space. Our team was responsible for installing new ceilings, wood and leather flooring, and a structural steel store-front that included stainless steel cladding and glass. The store also houses a stock room with rolling file system, manager’s office and single unisex bathroom. Our team installed new lighting and plumbing, mechanical, electrical and HVAC system upgrades. The project was completed meeting the 12-week schedule while working in an occupied building during the busy holiday season.
Long Distance Coordination
With the client located in the mid-west and an architect in California, bringing to life the vision of Allen Edmonds’ upscale store in New Jersey required a good long distance plan. The entire project team worked seamlessly. Even when a new catwalk to support infrastructure systems needed to be installed mid-project, our staff discussed this with the team and coordinated with mall management to get the work done without disrupting the project schedule.
